Founders, Rashard and Adrionna, both have years of experience in the realm of education. Their background coupled with their teaching experiences fuel the passion and the vision of Class Act Detroit.
Class Act Detroit and its commitment to children and their families date back as early as 2010 before officially becoming a non-profit in 2017. Answering the call from parents and students to provide equitable out-of-school programming options, allowed the community to rally behind Class Act Detroit to fulfill our mission.
Through the collaboration of youth organizations, schools, and community sponsors, to date, Class Act Detroit has served over 300 students through its out-of-school programming.
What We offer
“I loved being apart of [Class Act Detroit’s Literacy] workshop it was very engaging. I learned some methods I didn’t know and enhanced my knowledge on the ones I did know. It was fun and interactive and I’m glad I attended. Lastly, I am grateful for the material and resources. They will really help in helping my children with their literacy. Thanks”
